I started as most photographers do, helping a friend who was on a tight budget and needed a favor. I soon fell in love with being able to not only preserve special moments on film, but capture the moments and details that are often over looked. I have worked with a number of wedding photographers and from the dozens of weddings I have been a part of I have learned the business inside and out, including the negative aspects. To put it bluntly I learned a lot about what not to do. I worked with photographers who were always able to get a great image, but made the bride a nervous wreck and photographers who made the bride feel totally at ease, but were uninterested or lazy at the event. As a girl who wasn’t married and was constantly thinking about what I would want; I found myself making mental lists of all the dos and mostly do not’s I would want as a bride. It is this experience that has developed my style of wedding photography. My style of wedding photography is to not only photograph the planned events of your day but to capture the spontaneous and true essence of the day as it occurs. I believe the best photographers are able to find the balance of being able to capture every moment without interrupting or taking over your day. My job is to make sure you have images to remember every part of your wedding, but not to make the day about photography. The bride and groom should be able to enjoy their wedding and relax knowing everything is going on film.

Travel within 60 miles. $.50 a mile after 60 miles.

Books can be printed through various vendors, prices and quality range from $25 - $300 per book. Clients can receive copy of book design if they do no wish to print immediately or for future printing use with full reprinting rights. Most 8 hour events average 6-10 hours of design.
